In agroforestry projects we integrate different trees with arable farming, horticulture and livestock farming. In this way we balance the natural ecosystem services of the landscape, where nature and agriculture work together. By planting and maintaining certain trees in the right way, a nature-inclusive system is developed that can carry itself and ensures a more diverse production.

Food forest Hungary
We are not only active in the Netherlands. Jade Reforestry naturally grows a food forest in Hungary. This food forest is linked to an educational project with schools from Hungary, Belgium and Italy (Erasmus program). In the photo below, Jade explains to the teachers how a fruit tree is made by means of a practical grafting workshop.
How do you prune a fruit tree? Jade Reforestry can help you with that. With a pruning course we can explain and show how you can best prune and maintain your fruit trees.

Pruning fruit trees is one of our favorite things to do. From young to old fruit trees.
Is a tree dangerous or in the way? Jade Reforestry can also clear trees, even if they can't fall. In the photo above you see a Scots pine from a forest of which we have made a food forest. Before planting, we first make sure that the other trees are safe and allow enough light to pass through.
